Extrahujete obrázek jako bajt[] a poté jej buď převedete na bajty, jako řetězec hexadecimálních znaků a poté tento řetězec uzavřete do X'
váš_hexadecimální_řetězec '
- např. může to být
X'FFFEFDFCFBFA9........'
a použijte tento řetězec jako hodnotu pro vložení přes nativní SQL
- např.
INSERT INTO your_table (image_column) VALUES(X'FFFEFDFCFBFA9........')
Nebo můžete použít vložení SQliteDatbase komfortní metoda, která přebírá objekt Contentvalues jako 3. parametr. Objekt Contentvalues byste nastavili něco ve smyslu

Ukládání obrázků však může být problematické a nedoporučuje se ukládat obrázky, zvláště pokud jsou v průměru větší než 100 kB.
Pokud se obrázek blíží nebo je větší než 2M, nebudete jej moci načíst pomocí standardního rozhraní Android SQLite API, protože CursorWindow má omezení 2M. I při 1M byste možná mohli získat 1 obrázek v CursorWindow.
Doporučená metoda je uložit cestu nebo část cesty k obrázku a v případě potřeby obrázek načíst přes jeho cestu.
Příklad
Řekněme, že (výše uvedené), následující je aplikace, která buď uloží obrázek do databáze, pokud je menší než 100 kB (public static final int MAX_FILE_SIZE = 100 * 1024;
) nebo uložte cestu a buď načtěte obrázek přes cestu nebo databázi podle toho, co bylo uloženo.
Aplikace má dva ListViews s popisy obrázků (pravý obsahuje cestu k obrázku). Kliknutím na položku v obou se zobrazí obrázek.

Existuje řada obrázků, nejvíce přes 100 kB, jeden funny.png má pod 100 kB :-
