Věřím, že je to způsobeno buď vaším mrtvým jednoduchým převodníkem, nebo možná tím, jak je definována entita položek (použil jsem boolean pro vyloučeno a zdá se, že funguje dobře i bez převodníku) .

Domnívám se, že váš problém není s dotazem, ale s CatViewItemList v tom, že vyplňujete seznam položek všemi položkami souvisejícími s kategorií bez ohledu na dotaz/po dotazu (aka myslím, že vkládání seznamu položek do kategorie). To mě zmátlo, protože opravdu chcete pouze konkrétní související položku (právě jsem si vzal 1. ve svém kódu), např. cvwil.ItemList.get(0).isIsexcluded() a štěstí bylo, že 4 je před 5, takže isexcluded se jeví jako nepravda.
Domnívám se, že byste k tomu možná měli přistupovat z položek, přidáním se do kategorie např. něco jako

Abych to udělal, byl mi aktualizován kód na gitHubu (všimněte si, že jsem změnil tabulku Kategorie tak, aby měla jedinečný název sloupce id kategorie spíše než id.)
výsledky jsou nyní (všimněte si, že byla přidána další kategorie a 2 další položky v obráceném pořadí, tj. první položka (id 7) byla vyloučena jako pravdivá, poté id 8 má nepravdu) :-
