Získání počtu řádků a dat tohoto řádku v jednom dotazu pomocí PDO v PHP

zkuste to pomocí funkce Načíst vše

$rows = $query->fetchAll(PDO::FETCH_ASSOC);

ve vašem případě

$sql='select uid,name from users where username=? and password=?';
$query=$con->prepare($sql);
$result=$query->execute(array($username,$password));
