Dotaz
Dotaz používá CROSS APPLY
k "vložení" řádků, když je mezera v datech. Pomocí Tally
zduplikuje aktuální řádek tolikrát, kolikrát je potřeba tabulka čísel.
Existuje speciální řešení případu, kdy @StartDate
je před datem prvního řádku. Proto existují dva SELECTs
spojené dohromady.
CTE.PrevDate IS NULL
filtruje pouze takové řádky a ty se opakují tolikrát, kolikrát je potřeba.

Vložení vygenerovaných řádků zpět do původní tabulky
Nejprve jsem si neuvědomil, že chcete změnit původní tabulku, a tak jsem napsal SELECT
dotaz, který vrátí potřebnou sadu výsledků. Je snadné jej upravit na INSERT
dotaz, který by přidal nové řádky do původní tabulky.
Vše, co jsem udělal, je přidání filtru WHERE NewDate <> dt
, což zajišťuje, že budou vloženy pouze nové řádky, které dříve neexistovaly.
