Ne, nemůžete přímo změnit stav účtu z EXPIRE(GRACE) na OPEN bez resetování hesla.

Můžete však nepřímo změňte stav na OPEN resetováním hash hesla uživatele na stávající hodnotu. Nastavení hashe hesla pro sebe má bohužel následující komplikace a téměř každé jiné řešení postrádá alespoň jeden z těchto problémů:

1. Různé verze Oracle používají různé typy hashů.
2. Profil uživatele může bránit opětovnému použití hesel.
3. Limity profilu lze změnit, ale na konci musíme změnit hodnoty zpět.
4. Hodnoty profilu nejsou triviální, protože pokud je hodnota DEFAULT , což je ukazatel na DEFAULT hodnotu profilu. Možná budeme muset rekurzivně zkontrolovat profil.

Následující, směšně velký blok PL/SQL by měl zvládnout všechny tyto případy. Měl by resetovat jakýkoli účet na OPEN se stejným hashem hesla, bez ohledu na verzi Oracle nebo nastavení profilu. A profil se změní zpět na původní limity.
